Santa Fe

This town is very upscale, with many boutiques and eateries all clustered around the town square.  We had beautiful weather and stayed about a 10 minute walk up hill from the center of town.  At this point, we realized we had truly begun our southwest venture - red rock, clear air and strong sun!

St. Patrick's Cathedral with a statue in front that Dave remembers - I will have to find out!

The oldest public building in the US, built 1609 - the Governor's Palace.  Indian vendors have been selling their jewelry here for centuries.

Just a really bizzaro effect on these flowers, which seem to thrive in the Southwest.

Haven't shown you a self-portrait in a while, so here goes!

A Scottish Rite Temple in the middle of Santa Fe...what's that about?  Another tribute to 'the homeland"? :)

Our cottage suite - the Fort Marcy Hotel and Suites (yet again - probably bigger than our new home, for only $89!)
